The following position is to join our BBN Technologies team: Role Overview: We are seeking qualified and eager new or recent graduates to join our Physical Sciences and Systems group in Cambridge, Massachusetts. You will join a project team designing, analyzing, and prototyping innovative multi-domain system architectures. You will contribute to an environment focused on embedded software generation, testing, and research with a focus in C++, C, and Linux. Our world-class team works with a broad range of Government agencies to solve problems that are both technically challenging and have a real operational impact. What You Will Do: Examples of the types of challenging problems we work on include: Developing and implementing sophisticated detection, classification, localization, and tracking (DCLT) algorithms against state-of-the-art threats in high-noise environmentsDesigning and implementing complex software to optimize sensor system performanceDesigning and implementing software for the guidance and control of autonomous vehiclesSupporting real time evaluation of designs in realistic mission scenarios and operational analysisOptimizing algorithm designs for highest performance Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field) and 2 years of relevant professional work experience or a master’s degree in the disciplines aboveThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
