Description

Your opportunity As an Electrical Power Systems Engineer, you will work within an experienced engineering team on the electrical power design of advanced vessels. Your focus is on designing complete onboard power systems, including power generation, storage, and distribution, with sustainability and hybrid solutions playing an important role. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Project Manager and fellow engineers, contributing to concept and basic engineering deliverables while ensuring designs meet project requirements and maritime regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects that truly matter, within a dynamic and forward-thinking maritime sector where innovation and technical quality are key. What you will do Design complete shipboard electrical power systems based on project requirements and applicable maritime regulationsPrepare and develop concept and basic engineering deliverables for electrical power systemsDeliver technical solutions within agreed budgets and project timelinesIdentify deviations within the project scope and take proactive action where requiredReport on engineering progress and ensure clear and transparent communication within the project teamCollaborate with colleagues across disciplines to achieve the best overall system solution Where you will work You will work in a maritime engineering environment involved in the design of advanced vessels such as superyachts, naval ships, and offshore vessels. Engineering teams are involved throughout the design phase, combining strong technical expertise with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
