We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Play a critical role in the sustainment of the current environment and delivery of new capabilities. Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems. Lead by example through day-to-day development and contribute to technical decision-making. Support the wider team through mentoring and technical guidance. Deliver high-quality, production-ready software across backend and frontend technologies. Contribute to full-stack delivery, including Java backend services and React/TypeScript single-page applications. What You'll Need 10+ years of software engineering experience. Substantial hands-on delivery using Java (8, 17, 21) and REST API design/implementation. Modern SPA development experience using React/TypeScript, Angular, or Vue. Strong understanding of design patterns and a structured approach to software development. Proven experience delivering complex changes in production environments. Familiarity with Agile software development processes and CI/CD concepts. What's On Offer Competitive salary between £61,500 - £78,800 per year. Contributory Pension Scheme.
