Position Summary: The Senior Staff Engineer, DevOps is responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing DevOps, CI/CD, software configuration management, and release engineering practices across multiple product teams. This role provides strategic technical proficiency for software delivery, release management, infrastructure automation, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements applicable to medical device software development. What You Will Do: Own, develop, and maintain the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) infrastructure and pipeline independently for system and application software associated with embedded devices, enabling rapid and reliable delivery of release-ready software packages.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, product management, and infrastructure teams, to understand their requirements, provide guidance, and troubleshoot issues to deliver high-quality software.Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of CI/CD infrastructure and development environment through proactive monitoring, performance testing, and optimization.Stay updated with the best practices for software development and the latest trends, tools, and technologies in software engineering and DevOps practices, and evaluate their suitability for the organization.Build shippable software packages in accordance with quality management system procedures. Ensure each package is reproducible and ready for release. Provide comprehensive documentation, including required protocols and supporting materials. What You Will Need: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related discipline & 6+ years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer.Strong knowledge of Linux-based OS. Experience in Python, Shell scripting, and tools in CI/CD, build, static analysis, and software product security.Knowledge of containerization technologies and container orchestration platforms.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the following tools is a plus:CI/CD: Perforce, Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog ArtifactoryBuild: Make, QbsContainerization: DockerStatic Analysis: SonarCloud, Clang-TidyApplication Security: Black DuckEngineering Management Platform: JamaCode Coverage: BullseyeExperience in C/C++, CMake, Kubernetes, and Grafana.Experience implementing DevOps practices in software product development for medical devices or other regulated environments.
