About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a growing infrastructure engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining scalable cloud and container platforms.
You will focus on platform automation, infrastructure reliability, security, and performance, working alongside engineers across cloud, DevOps, security, and software development.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain containerised infrastructure across cloud and data-centre environments.Design and manage Kubernetes-based platforms supporting demanding workloads.Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.Improve platform scalability, reliability, security, and observability.Work with networking, storage, compute, and access-control technologies.Develop automated processes for platform upgrades, configuration, and compliance.Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and contribute to incident resolution.Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to turn technical requirements into practical solutions.Continuously evaluate and improve platform technologies and operational processes.Requirements
4–7 years' experience in platform, cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably in production environments.Experience with Linux-based infrastructure.Strong understanding of networking, storage, security, and containerisation.Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or GitOps.Experience operating reliable, secure infrastructure in DevOps or platform engineering environments.Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Comfortable working across both engineering and operational teams.
