Linux Platform Engineer (OpenShift) – London £50,000-£58,000 base + on-call + share options | London | Hybrid (2 days per week onsite) We are partnering with a high-growth SaaS business that is hiring a Linux Platform Engineer to join a growing platform team responsible for building and evolving modern Linux and container-based platform services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond traditional BAU administration and into platform engineering, automation, and cloud-native infrastructure. The team is creating self-service platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deploy, manage, and operate workloads more effectively across a modern container platform environment. The wider organisation already operates at significant scale, and this team forms part of a broader infrastructure transformation focused on Linux, OpenShift, Kubernetes, automation, and private cloud modernisation. The engineering function is also actively adopting AI-assisted delivery practices, with engineers increasingly leveraging modern tooling to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and reduce repetitive manual work.
