Description

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on our Diagnostics team, you'll build the part of Regard that reads a patient's medical chart — labs, medications, vitals, procedures, prior notes, history — and determines which conditions are present, along with the evidence supporting each one. You'll design and develop critical backend services and drive them end-to-end through the full product lifecycle: ideation, planning, design, execution, deployment, and iteration. Our senior engineers are true technical leaders by driving architectural decisions, mentoring teammates, and leading major projects that help set the bar for engineering excellence. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, clinicians, and fellow engineers to ship high-quality solutions that empower physicians and improve patient care. About Regard Our mission is to bring world-class healthcare to everyone. Regard is an AI-powered Proactive Documentation platform that advances how care is delivered by reviewing all patient data in the EHR to recommend diagnoses and surface clinical evidence. Regard drafts a note even before the physician sees the patient, enabling an approach that gets documentation right at the point of care - we call it Proactive Documentation. This improves quality of care, reduces physician burden, and improves hospital finances. We are excited by challenges, mission-oriented work, and meaningful relationships.
