We're looking for a Software Specialist to join our Core Integration squad, supporting a suite of integration services that play an important role across the bank.
This role combines software development, operational support, automation and platform ownership.

About The Team
The Core Integration squad is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the integration services that support a wide range of technology platforms and business functions across ASB.
The team works across service support, platform operations, automation and ongoing enhancements, helping ensure integration services remain secure, reliable and fit for purpose as business needs continue to evolve.
About The Role
This role focuses primarily on Integration Services, including WCF-based services and related integrations, while also supporting API and BizTalk services where required.
The work spans production support, service maintenance, CI/CD, automation and ongoing enhancement of existing integration capabilities.
Over time, you'll also contribute to changes required to support evolving business and technology initiatives across the bank.
This is a hands-on role that would suit an engineer who enjoys understanding complex systems, improving service reliability and working across both development and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and support WCF-based integration servicesSupport SOAP and REST-based service integrationsDevelop and maintain solutions using C# and .NETBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationCreate and maintain observability dashboards and monitoring capabilitiesSupport server administration, patching and vulnerability remediation activitiesInvestigate and resolve production issues across integration servicesContribute to ongoing enhancements and maintenance of existing servicesSupport API and BizTalk services where requiredParticipate in an on-call support roster once fully established in the role
