Product Automation Engineer

We're on the lookout for talented Product Automation Engineer to join us in full-time as soon as possible at our location in Malta. Your Job You design, develop and maintain internal web applications and automation tools using Python and Django.You develop new features and continuously improve existing applications in collaboration with Product Management and business stakeholders.You build and maintain integrations between internal and external systems using REST APIs.You automate manual and repetitive processes and contribute to AI-powered and agentic tools that improve operational efficiency.You work with relational databases, automated testing, Docker and Docker Compose.You participate in code reviews, ensure code quality and contribute to development best practices.You document applications and technical processes, manage tasks in Jira and support the troubleshooting and maintenance of existing applications. Your Profile You have solid experience with Python and enjoy writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.You have practical experience with Django, including views, forms, templates, models and authentication.You have a good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, particularly for server-rendered web applications and dynamic interfaces.You have experience working with REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, authentication and error handling.You have knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage.You are familiar with Git and common development workflows, including branching, pull requests and code reviews.You have experience with automated testing, debugging and improving code quality.You have a basic understanding of asynchronous processing and background workers.You are familiar with Docker and Docker Compose.You are comfortable working with Jira in an Agile development environment.You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
