DevOps Engineer Rate: €575–€625 per day Location: Amsterdam – two days onsite per week Duration: Six months with potential extension Start date: ASAP Leading Travel Client now requires an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its ServiceNow engineering team, working across Amsterdam and Bangalore. This is a hands-on contract focused on reducing the backlog across several ServiceNow products, improving platform reliability and supporting critical production services. You’ll work alongside engineers, developers and QA specialists while engaging directly with stakeholders in Amsterdam. Key responsibilities Automate, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.Support Kubernetes-based environments.Troubleshoot Java applications and make minor code enhancements.Maintain the availability and reliability of production services.Improve monitoring, alerting and observability.Support Linux systems and integrations.Work with access and secrets-management tooling such as HashiCorp Vault.Investigate production incidents and implement long-term improvements.Support ServiceNow products and MID Server integrations. Key requirements Strong experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability or Platform Engineer.Hands-on CI/CD pipeline automation experience.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux.Good working knowledge of Java, including the ability to understand and troubleshoot existing code.Experience with observability, monitoring and alerting.Experience supporting live production environments.ServiceNow experience is beneficial, particularly ITSM, ITOM or MID Servers.Able to work onsite in Amsterdam approximately twice per week. Candidates who are immediately available or able to start at short notice will be prioritised.
