About The Role As a Senior Java Fullstack Developer (m/w/d), you will play a vital role in supporting a major project within the central IT initiatives of the German tax administration. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing processes that govern cross-functional business workflows. You will be involved from the initial requirements gathering through to the technical implementation, ensuring seamless integration and performance of complex systems. Your expertise will help develop and enhance backend components based on Java (versions 17/21) and Spring Boot, supporting large-scale, process-driven applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing interfaces using REST, SOAP, and messaging protocols, coordinating with related systems and teams to ensure smooth communication. Additionally, you will develop technical solution designs for system-wide process flows, integrating them into existing architectures. Your role involves actively participating in the transformation and processing of large data volumes within distributed system landscapes, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency. Collaboration with project stakeholders, participating in exchange formats, and contributing to continuous system improvements are integral parts of your responsibilities. You will also create, execute, and document developer and integration tests to guarantee software quality, along with maintaining and optimizing existing software components. Technical documentation such as interface descriptions, installation, and operational manuals will be part of your deliverables.
