About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in delivery of major infrastructural projects to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of and coordination of the various teams, from pre-construction to handover.
This role requires an individual who can effectively lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest health, safety, and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Contract Managers and Support Functions to deliver your project (s) and enhance solid working relationships as one team across the business.Planning, controlling and managing the delivery of project your project(s) utilising the necessary resource and skills, within the agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.Instil a strong safety culture and develop the capability of our project team(s) to take personal responsibility through strong visible leadership.Drive yourself and others to comply with all business policies, procedures and governance.Support of the tender process.Day to day management of client expectations whilst promoting the value we bring.Delivery of the Power T&D business strategy and objectives on your project(s) and outperform on key success measures.Manage commercial and business risks to achieve targets.Understand the relevant commercial terms and conditions for your project.Pro-actively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations.Leadership of Zero Harm and drive for continuous improvement across SHEQ.Show clear and visible leadership and display the right leadership behaviours.Key Requirements:
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field8+ years of progressive project management experienceProven experience at senior management level, successfully delivering major infrastructural and EPC projects within the power, utilities, and renewables sectors.Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of building, motivating, and developing cross-functional teams.Demonstrated success in tendering, planning, and executing large-scale projects, including oversight of subcontractors and supply chain partners.Commercially astute, with deep knowledge of budgetary planning, cost control, risk management, and contractual obligations.Excellent relationship management skills, adept at engaging with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals.Skilled at managing competing priorities and resolving conflicts, providing practical solutions to complex operational and commercial challenges.Strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality (SHEQ), with the ability to instil a Zero Harm culture across projects.Resilient and adaptable in ambiguous environments, able to identify sensitive issues and lead collaborative teams towards effective outcomes.H&MV Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer
