NTT Data are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a high performing technical services team responsible for supporting and enhancing a large scale enterprise infrastructure environment. Initial 6 month contractPerth metro location This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on cloud infrastructure specialist who enjoys working across Azure, server technologies, automation, and enterprise scale infrastructure. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and supporting highly available cloud and on-premises environments, helping to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing services. About the Role As the Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, operation, and optimisation of enterprise server infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure cloud services. Working within a collaborative technical team, you'll help maintain critical infrastructure platforms, drive automation initiatives, support infrastructure modernisation, and contribute to the ongoing reliability and performance of complex IT environments. Key Responsibilities Design, build and support Azure-based infrastructure solutionsMaintain highly available and resilient server environments across cloud and on-premises platformsManage and optimise Windows and Linux server infrastructureDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutionsImplement and enhance infrastructure automation capabilitiesMonitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issuesProduce and maintain high-quality technical documentationCollaborate with technical and business stakeholders across the organisationProvide technical guidance and mentoring to team membersParticipate in an on-call support roster when required About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: 5+ years' experience supporting large-scale enterprise server environmentsStrong Azure infrastructure and cloud operations experienceBroad infrastructure knowledge across servers, networking, storage and databasesHands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similarExperience working with Azure DevOps, GitHub or other version control platformsStrong knowledge of Windows Server and Red Hat LinuxExperience managing both physical and virtual server environmentsScripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologiesUnderstanding of JSON, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templatesExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience mentoring or supporting junior team members Highly Regarded Advanced Azure infrastructure experienceCloud migration and modernisation project experienceEnterprise monitoring and operational management experienceExperience working within complex, large-scale environments
