About the Opportunity The DevOps/SRE Engineer – Bilingual Mandarin Required manages day-to-day cloud infrastructure and operational activities across North America. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability and stability, supporting cross-timezone incident response, and implementing regional compliance requirements. The position plays a critical role in operational continuity, infrastructure security, and SaaS compliance. Responsibilities • Execute daily operations for cloud resources and infrastructure according to established procedures. • Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and perform backup and recovery activities. • Collaborate with overseas teams on incident triage, troubleshooting, and response. • Manage local U.S. data center operations and enforce applicable compliance requirements. • Serve as the first responder for regional incidents and independently resolve common issues. • Support compliance activities related to GDPR, SOC 2, CCPA, Executive Order 14117, and other applicable regulations. • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams to maintain SaaS product compliance. • Support infrastructure reliability, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 3–4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering. • Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and services including VPC, EC2, EKS/Kubernetes, RDS, and IAM. • Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, containerization, load balancing, and service governance. • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm. • Experience with CI/CD platforms including Jenkins, Argo CD, CodeBuild, or similar technologies. • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and OpenTelemetry. • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Shell, or Go. • Strong system design, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
