About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Platform Reliability and Observability to join our dynamic DevOps team in New Haven. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining hybrid infrastructure platforms that span on-premises data centers, Kubernetes clusters, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines. Reporting directly to the DevOps Engineering Manager, you will focus on enhancing system reliability, operational visibility, and system observability for D-Wave's Quantum Computing as a Service (QCaaS) platform and hardware-integrated systems. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with a preference for candidates located within a few hours of our New Haven office to facilitate occasional on-site collaboration. You will work across infrastructure, cloud, and developer workflows, troubleshooting issues, optimizing deployment processes, and ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and well-instrumented. The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on problem solving, system automation, and continuous improvement of platform operations.
