AMK BizSolution AMK BizSolution Summary Of Job Responsibilities: The Senior DevOps ensures a reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery pipeline from development through production. This role leads DevOps practices, oversees CI/CD and release management, and partners closely with software engineers, infrastructure, and security teams to enable stable deployments, high availability, and continuous improvement, including support for critical digital channels such as mobile and internet banking. Report To: Senior Software Research and Development Manager Location: Head Office Closing Date: 07-Sep-2026 Job Description Job Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the DevOps team, assigning work, coaching staff, and ensuring delivery quality.Define, document, and enforce DevOps standards, procedures, and controls across the SDLC.Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for applications, services, and APIs.Plan and manage releases and deployments with proper change control and minimal/zero-downtime strategies.Ensure consistent environment management across DEV/UAT/PROD (configuration, access, and secrets).Monitor production systems and ensure high availability, performance, and service reliability.Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive actions.Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Manage company-approved container platforms and orchestration environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) where applicable.Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, business teams, and vendors to ensure secure, compliant, and timely delivery.Carry out additional responsibilities as delegated by direct supervisor or Head of Department. Qualification And Experiences: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.4+ years total experience in software engineering, systems operations, or infrastructure support.2+ year’s hands-on experience in DevOps/CI/CD/platform operations.Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (Agile, Jira, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Ansible, etc.).Experience with Web/API configurations, reverse proxies, and service deployments.Prior experience leading a team or acting as a senior/lead is strongly preferred.Good foundation in automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, Postman, and JMeter is a plus.Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is a plus.Containerization and orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes (OpenShift is a plus).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, or GCP) is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure during incidents.Excellent communication skills.Experience in Banking/Financial institution environments is a plus.
