The firm has global operations in London, New York and Abu Dhabi. Position Description: We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our growing team. We are seeking someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and a desire to continuously learn and develop. Experience in finance, particularly with corporate credit instruments or fixed income products, would be advantageous but is not essential. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Develop and maintain the datasets used by teams across the company. Build and enhance frameworks for delivering this data fast and reliably. Build and enhance tools for error checking and data visualisation. Write robust, production-level code with a focus on reliability and performance. Contribute to wider data management and infrastructure decisions. Contribute to wider quant team analysis and reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver business solutions. Ensure all developed solutions are scalable and maintainable within the tech stack. Ah-hoc and long-term projects as required by the business. Skills & Qualifications: 3-6 years’ experience in data / quant / software engineering roles. Strong numerical and problem solving skills. Exceptional programming skills with Python are required, as are strong data processing / manipulation skills in Pandas. Some knowledge of other data science packages such as NumPy, Numba, Scipy is expected. Demonstrated passion for technology. Desire to keep learning and self-develop. Excellent time-management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong work ethic, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Dedicated team player and strong sense of ownership. Experience working in finance and familiarity with corporate credit instruments is a plus.
