Role: ForgeRock Developer Role Summary The ForgeRock IDM Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the ForgeRock Identity Platform, with a primary focus on ForgeRock Identity Management (IDM). The architect will lead identity lifecycle management initiatives, provide strategic IAM guidance, and ensure secure integration across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and directories. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design Design scalable and secure Identity Lifecycle Management solutions using ForgeRock IDM.Develop end-to-end IAM architecture covering provisioning, reconciliation, role management, and access governance.Create architecture documents, solution blueprints, deployment models, and integration strategies.Define identity data models, relationship mappings, synchronization policies, and approval workflows.Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards, compliance requirements, and IAM best practices.Identity Lifecycle Management Design and implement Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.Configure automated provisioning and de-provisioning workflows.Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC).Design identity reconciliation, attestation, and certification processes.Enable self-service identity management and delegated administration capabilities.Implementation & Integration Lead ForgeRock IDM implementation and migration projects.Integrate ForgeRock IDM with:Active DirectoryAzure AD / Microsoft Entra IDLDAP DirectoriesHR Systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)Databases and custom applicationsSaaS platformsConfigure connectors, synchronization policies, mappings, workflows, and managed objects.Develop custom integrations using REST APIs, Java, Groovy, JavaScript, and SCIM.Security & Compliance Design solutions that support:Regulatory compliance requirementsAudit controlsSegregation of Duties (SoD)Access GovernanceLeast Privilege principlesParticipate in security assessments and architecture reviews.Ensure secure implementation of authentication, authorization, and identity governance controls.Operations & Support Support production deployments and platform upgrades.Perform performance tuning and system optimization.Investigate and resolve complex IAM-related issues.Develop monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.Ensure high availability and scalability of the ForgeRock environment.
