IT Operations Engineer

Responsibilities You'll Have Own the incident and RCA process, from issue detection through resolution to preventive actionsMonitor production services, identify anomalies, and respond to potential issuesBuild, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related toolsEnsure Pre-Production and Production environments remain stable and alignedCreate and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge documentationCollaborate with development and platform teams to troubleshoot issues and improve operational processesIdentify recurring issues and implement automation to reduce manual effortImprove observability through dashboards, alerts, and log analysisSupport service continuity initiatives and disaster recovery exercises Expected competences and knowledge 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support (2nd/3rd line), or a similar production-facing roleProven experience in end-to-end incident management, including RCA and preventive actions2+ years of experience working within an ITIL frameworkExperience working in Agile environments with development teamsC1 level of EnglishStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Splunk, Sysdig, Prometheus, and GrafanaOperational experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Docker ComposeStrong Ansible skillsBasic Bash and Python scripting skillsExperience with Oracle and DB2 databasesWorking knowledge of ETL applications and REST APIsExperience with distributed systems and KafkaJava/development background for understanding solutions and integrations Nice to have Experience with IBM DataStage in operational environmentsAwareness of PegaAwareness of AirflowWillingness to learn Pega and Airflow Technologies you'll work with JenkinsCI/CDSplunkSysdigPrometheusGrafanaKubernetesAnsibleDockerDocker ComposeBashPythonOracleDB2KafkaJavaIBM DataStagePegaAirflow Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
