Quality Assurance Engineer

📍 Location: Kathmandu | 🏢 Department: Engineering Are you passionate about finding bugs, improving product quality, and making sure software works exactly as it should? We’re looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our products throughout the development and release lifecycle. What you’ll doCreate test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on product and business requirements.Perform functional, regression, integration, API, UI, and end-to-end testing.Test and validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and business rules using SQL.Develop and maintain automated tests for regression, API, and functional testing.Support CI/CD, release validation, post-deployment testing, and production issue investigation.Test AI-enabled features and evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, relevance, and alignment with business requirements.Use AI-assisted tools to improve test generation, defect analysis, automation, SQL validation, and QA documentation.Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify and address quality risks early. What we’re looking for2+ years of professional experience in QA or software testing.Strong experience in manual, functional, regression, integration, and API testing.Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.Experience testing AI-enabled applications, LLM workflows, or AI-generated outputs.Good understanding of the software development and testing lifecycle.Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.Ability to investigate issues across the frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.Experience working with Jira, Git, and Agile development workflows.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
