This is an opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the platforms, automation and engineering practices that underpin critical technology systems across the organisation. Working at the intersection of infrastructure, software engineering and reliability, you’ll help shape scalable solutions that improve developer velocity, operational resilience and the long-term evolution of the firm’s technology estate. Partnering closely with engineering, data, portfolio management and core technology teams, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering resilient platforms that support complex workloads across both cloud and on-premises environments... Key Responsibilities Design, build and evolve shared platform capabilities that are leveraged across the organisation, with a focus on reliability, scalability, automation and operational efficiencyArchitect and improve deployment frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows that enable teams to deliver software faster and with greater confidenceDrive the adoption of modern SRE and DevOps practices across development teams, including infrastructure as code, observability, automation, service reliability and continuous improvementDevelop and maintain tooling and automation solutions using modern programming languages such as Python or Go, improving platform performance and reducing operational complexityBuild, operate and optimise containerised environments, including Kubernetes platforms and associated orchestration toolingPartner with software engineers and technology teams to improve application resilience, fault tolerance and production readiness through hands-on engineering support, mentoring and knowledge sharingContribute to incident response, production support and on-call responsibilities, helping maintain the reliability of business-critical technology platforms What You’ll Bring… 6+ years’ experience working within DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering roles supporting complex, distributed technology environmentsStrong software engineering capability with practical experience using Python, Go or similar programming languages to build automation and infrastructure solutionsDeep experience designing and managing CI/CD ecosystems, including tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent platformsProven ability to architect reliable, scalable infrastructure and software solutions across large engineering environmentsStrong expertise with container technologies and Kubernetes, including deploying, managing and optimising production workloadsExperience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and building automation around modern platform servicesStrong understanding of infrastructure as code practices, with hands-on experience using technologies such as Terraform and Kubernetes OperatorsExperience implementing and operating observability solutions across production environments, including monitoring, logging and reliability toolingExposure to both cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments, ideally with experience working within AWS-based platforms ...
