Role Description The Web System Engineer will support and maintain Sunsathi Solar’s web-based systems and infrastructure in a part-time, remote role. Typical responsibilities include monitoring system performance, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of web services. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with development and product teams to implement system improvements, and supporting secure deployments and updates. The Web System Engineer will also assist with documentation of configurations and processes, contribute to system design enhancements, and provide technical support for internal stakeholders as needed. Qualifications Strong skills in Systems Engineering and Systems Design for web-based environments.Proficiency in System Administration and Technical Support for servers, applications, and related services.Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting complex system and network issues.Experience with web infrastructure technologies (e.g., Linux/Windows servers, web servers, databases, cloud platforms).Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and backup/recovery procedures.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.Previous experience in renewable energy or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
