Context of the Role:
The EIB Group is looking for three Software Engineers to provide technical assistance within the 1st Line of Defence Factory 2025 project, managed by the SPBS Factory team.
The SPBS Factory is a cross-functional entity responsible for developing analytical and decision-making tools for Financial Institutions (FI) in the context of the first line of defence.
The assignment covers several key initiatives:
Further improvement and expansion of the FInMetric application, including infrastructure, analytical tools, on-demand intraday market data and business-oriented user interfaces.Calculation of the Bank's daily FX position, supporting enhanced accuracy and risk management.Further enhancement, validation and operationalisation of the Fund Transfer Pricing application.Continuous enhancement and maintenance of tools previously delivered by the SPBS Factory and currently running in production.The consultants will work closely with business users and technical teams to develop, test and maintain reliable financial applications and automated calculation frameworks.

Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant field.
ORIn the absence of a relevant Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of equivalent professional experience.Mandatory Experience:
Candidates must demonstrate:
At least 3 years of experience in Python programming.At least 3 years of experience in test automation.At least 3 years of experience working closely with business stakeholders to coimplement software solutions satisfying both functional and technical requirements.Preferred Experience:
