Job Description As the first infrastructure hire, you will build a production inference platform from the ground up. You’ll design portable, multi-tenant systems capable of running across managed clouds and air-gapped environments for Fortune 500 enterprises. What You Will Do Own the end-to-end production inference platform, optimizing model serving, orchestration, and GPU workloads for performance, latency, and cost.Architect a portable, multi-tenant infrastructure that maintains rigorous security isolation across managed cloud, customer-owned hardware, and fully air-gapped environments.Partner directly with the founders to shape the technical strategy, model lifecycle, and infrastructure roadmap for the next generation of intelligent systems. The ideal candidate Extensive experience operating compute-intensive distributed systems or production ML infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and high-performance orchestration layers.Proven track record of designing multi-tenant platforms with rigorous isolation boundaries and handling complex data-processing pipelines at scale.Ability to work with substantial autonomy as an early engineering hire, building robust systems from scratch without established blueprints or existing processes.
