Greenfield development environment where engineers can have real influence on the platform and technical direction Opportunity to work on meaningful, mission critical software in a highly stable industry Smaller agile team where your voice and technical opinions will actually matter Job Details Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (9/80 schedule with every other Friday off) Overview: Technology focused company seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to support a cloud based operations and maintenance platform within a highly regulated environment. This role will focus heavily on backend development, API design, and scalable cloud hosted applications. Responsibilities: Build and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot Develop modular APIs and scalable backend components Work with MongoDB/document based database structures Support REST APIs and Swagger documentation Contribute to containerized deployments using Docker Support Azure hosted backend environments Work with asynchronous processing patterns and scalable application design Operate independently with minimal oversight Desired Background: Strong backend engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot MongoDB experience strongly preferred Experience building REST APIs and backend services Docker/containerization experience Cloud experience, ideally Azure Experience designing modular and scalable applications 10+ years of backend development experience preferred U.S. Citizenship required Why Join: Greenfield style development environment Opportunity to influence backend architecture and technical direction High ownership role with strong engineering visibility Modern cloud/backend technology stack Collaborative engineering environment with long term growth potential Every other Friday off with 9/80 schedule Interested in hearing more?
