Job Description As the first engineering hire at Cranston AI, you will own entire product surfaces end-to-end, from data models to AI agent behaviors. You’ll transform messy accounting workflows into durable software, working directly with the founders to scale a system already generating real revenue in a massive $900B underserved market. What You Will Do Own and build core product workflows for tax prep, bookkeeping, and client operations using React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.Design and implement sophisticated AI agent loops that understand accounting context and automate multi-step manual processes.Translate complex real-world CPA firm requirements into clean product abstractions, interfaces, and durable workflow primitives.
