Description
On-site at an Alpha campus in Austin, TX or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ — we provide relocation assistance$150,000 annuallyFull-time position
Traditional elementary schools reduce expectations when students face challenges.
You do the opposite.
You are convinced that six-year-olds can accomplish far more than conventional classrooms demand, and you have used measurable results to demonstrate this repeatedly.
Alpha operates on a two-hour learning framework.
Adaptive applications handle academic instruction each morning, freeing your schedule for the work that genuinely transforms a child's trajectory: motivation, life skills, direct coaching, and accountability.
You directly oversee a cohort of K-3 learners while coaching the Guides (Alpha's name for the adults who mentor and inspire students) who manage their daily development.
You remain actively involved each day rather than supervising remotely from an administrative office.
Your typical day rotates among three core activities.
You analyze performance metrics and Coachbot data to identify which students and Guides need intervention.
You conduct coaching sessions that conclude with concrete action steps rather than general encouragement.
And you engage groups of five- to nine-year-olds through workshops addressing public speaking, concentration, or constructive feedback exchanges.
When you identify effective approaches, you document them.
The frameworks you create establish the baseline that all other Guides implement, expanding your influence from a single cohort to an entire grade level.
Demonstrating your ability to replicate that quality is the path to advancing into greater leadership roles here.
If reducing standards seems compassionate to you, this role is not appropriate.
If elevating them represents respect, submit your application.
What You Will Be Doing

What You Won’t Be Doing
Providing academic instruction or presenting lectures from the classroom front; adaptive apps deliver content while you coach individualsReducing expectations in response to student difficultiesManaging remotely in the manner of instructional coaches or principals; you remain integrated with your cohort every dayOverseeing the entire campus budget, operations, and parent communications; a Campus Lead handles those responsibilities so you can concentrate on student and Guide performanceAdvocating for traditional teaching practices or implementing a standard K-12 curriculum
