Description

Responsibilities: Design, develop and implement backend applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.Develop and maintain solutions based on distributed architecture, integrating internal and external servers and applications.Develop APIs, web services and backend interfaces to support self-service call flows.Implement appropriate integration patterns and API authentication mechanisms.Develop and integrate solutions with Oracle Database and other backend systems.Prepare and execute system test cases and perform unit testing for assigned development tasks.Deliver development tasks within agreed timelines with proper unit testing results.Work with multiple teams to test, troubleshoot and resolve integration-level issues and defects.Participate in implementation activities, technical discussions and communications involving third-party applications and non-core requirements.Maintain proper source-code documentation, comments and development best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout development, testing and implementation.Support troubleshooting and resolution of production or integration issues when required. Requirements: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development.Strong hands-on experience with the Java/J2EE platform.Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.Good working knowledge of Oracle Database.Experience with distributed architecture and integration with internal/external servers and applications.Understanding of integration patterns.Understanding of API authentication mechanisms.Experience with backend systems, web services and APIs for developing interfaces and self-service call flows.Working knowledge of Git/source code repositories; experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred.Good understanding of unit testing and system testing.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and third-party applications.Good documentation practices, including source-code comments and development best practices.Ability to learn new technologies and requirements quickly.
