DevOps Engineer - AWS / Kubernetes Hong Kong | Global Hedge Fund We are partnering with a leading global investment manager to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer for its growing Hong Kong technology team. You will work closely with software engineering, trading platform and market access teams, helping build and improve the infrastructure, deployment tooling and engineering platforms underpinning a sophisticated global trading environment. This is a broad DevOps / Platform Engineering position with a strong focus on automation, reliability and developer productivity. You will: Design and build platform infrastructure and development toolingBuild, automate and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and release processesManage deployments, upgrades and migrations across hybrid on-premise and AWS environmentsWork extensively with Kubernetes, ideally including AWS EKSBuild self-service tooling, APIs and automation to reduce operational overhead and improve the developer experiencePartner closely with software engineers to improve production readiness and engineering standardsImprove monitoring, alerting, observability and operational processesHelp establish DevOps standards and best practices across engineering teams What We're Looking For Strong experience operating hybrid infrastructure, spanning on-premise environments and AWSHands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally AWS EKSStrong AWS infrastructure knowledge across areas such as EC2, VPC/networking and load balancingExperience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or OpenTofuGood Python fundamentals and an interest in using software engineering to solve infrastructure problemsStrong Linux and/or Windows scripting skillsExperience with Git and mature CI/CD environmentsA strong automation and problem-solving mindsetExcellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with software engineering teams If you're a DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong AWS, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code experience and would like to apply your skills within a high-performance quantitative trading environment, please apply or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
