Role Description The Software Engineer Intern will work full time on-site in San Jose, CA, supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered software systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and testing back-end services, writing clean and maintainable code, and assisting with integration of AI agents into existing enterprise tools and data environments. The intern will collaborate with senior engineers to debug issues, improve performance, and ensure reliability in production-like environments. The role also involves participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and contributing to small project features or components under guidance. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, such as data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming using modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript, or similar).Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and microservices or service-oriented architectures.Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in practical projects.Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative development workflows is beneficial.Ability to learn quickly, work effectively in a team setting, and communicate clearly in a technical environment.Interest in AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation, especially in enterprise or operational contexts, is a plus.
