Senior DevOps Engineer

For roles that are 100% remote or hybrid, you must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection to support daily job responsibilities. A minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required. Those fully remote associates residing in states where service is required by contract, law, or regulation will be allowed to submit for reimbursement. Role Overview DevOps combines development and operations to increase the efficiency, speed, and security of software development and delivery compared to traditional processes. We provide automated deployments in lower & production environments. We ensure technology source stacks supporting business products are secured in a central code management system. Work Arrangement This is a hybrid, office based position working in our Ellis Preserve office located in Newtown Square, PA. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Remote days are Monday and Friday. Responsibilities May assist in production supportDeploys new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environmentMakes modules production ready by moving them to libraries, completing forms, following procedures, completing version control documents, etcInstalls and configures solutionsDevelops and/or implements reusable componentsWorks on moderate to complex tasks in support of one or more projects that require a singular area of expertiseWorks as a project team member, or independently on small projects Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar; Master’s degree preferred At least five to ten (5 - 10) years of programming experience with working knowledge of one programming languageComfort with frequent, incremental code, testing and deploymentKnowledge of fundamental software engineering principlesExperience with source code management tools (e.g.., SVN, git, Azure)Familiar with Artifactory or a repository manager productExperience or exposure to database schemas, mappings, for either SQL, Oracle, or SybaseExperience administering Windows Server 2012/2016, IIS websites, and SQL servers in a production environmentExperience in build and release processes and procedures and source code managementIncreased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business areaHigh level language (e.g., java, java script, C#, Visual Basic)Experience with scripting languages (e.g., windows powershell, unix, shell)Ability to speak and write fluently in English (as a minimum requirement) Our Comprehensive Benefits Package Flexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules, Competitive pay, Paid time off including holidays and volunteer events, Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents on Day 1, 401(k) Tuition reimbursement and more.
