We are looking for a passionate Mobile Application Developer (React Native + Expo) to help us build and scale Khelamm’s mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. 📌 Role Details Position: Mobile Application Developer (React Native + Expo) Platforms: Android & iOS Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: Remote (Nepal) Working Days: Monday – Friday Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (NPT) Salary: Negotiable based on experience, skills, and fit 🎯 About the Role As a Mobile Application Developer at Khelamm, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving our cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to create a fast, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experience for sports enthusiasts across Nepal. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building consumer-focused mobile applications, solving meaningful problems, and taking ownership of features from concept to release. 🔥 Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Khelamm’s mobile applications for Android and iOS using React Native and Expo. • Build scalable, reusable, and high-quality mobile components. • Convert product requirements and UI/UX designs into smooth and intuitive mobile experiences. • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver new features. • Implement core app features such as user onboarding, match discovery, game creation, joining matches, player management, notifications, and community interactions. • Integrate mobile applications with APIs, backend services, and third-party platforms. • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability, and overall user experience across different devices. • Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues and application bugs. • Manage app testing, updates, and deployment processes for both Android and iOS. • Contribute to technical decisions, architecture improvements, and development best practices. • Stay updated with modern mobile development trends, tools, and frameworks. ✅ Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Proven experience developing mobile applications using React Native. • Strong hands-on experience with Expo and Expo development workflows. • Experience building and deploying applications for both Android and iOS platforms. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript. • Experience integrating REST APIs and working with backend services. • Understanding of mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and development best practices. • Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar tools. • Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows. • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment. ⭐ Valuable Skills (Not Required, But a Plus) • Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. • Experience with Expo Application Services (EAS), app builds, OTA updates, and deployment workflows. • Familiarity with Firebase services including authentication, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting. • Experience implementing real-time features, location services, maps, or geolocation-based functionality. • Understanding of mobile app security practices. • Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers using tools like Figma. • Familiarity with backend technologies, databases, and API design. • Experience building consumer apps, marketplaces, social platforms, or community-driven products. • Passion for sports, technology, and building products that connect people. 🌟 Why Join Khelamm? ✅ Build a mobile product that connects real communities through sports. ✅ Work on an impactful consumer platform designed for Nepal. ✅ Take ownership of features and influence product decisions. ✅ Collaborate with a passionate team building something meaningful. ✅ Grow your technical and product skills while solving real-world challenges.
