Kinetic are working with a leading global healthcare technology and medical devices company who are hiring an Industrial Engineer for their team in Kelberg, Germany. This is a key position focused on supplier industrialisation, supplier transfers, new product introduction (NPD) projects, and the development of scalable, cost-effective external supply chains. Key aspects of the role include: Lead end-to-end supplier transfer activities including make-to-make, make-to-buy, dual sourcing and supplier change projects.Plan, coordinate and implement transfer programmes in collaboration with Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing and Integrated Supply Chain teams.Evaluate, validate and optimise manufacturing and test processes at external supplier locations.Assess supplier capabilities, capacity, process maturity, operational stability and industrial risks.Support and drive APQP and PPAP activities as part of supplier transfer and industrialisation programmes.Manage production ramp-ups and ensure successful stabilisation of serial production following transfer activities.Provide industrial engineering expertise within NPD and Cost-to-Win (C2W) initiatives, ensuring production readiness and manufacturability.Conduct manufacturing cost analysis, capacity planning and output validation to improve efficiency and scalability.Identify, assess and mitigate industrial and supplier-related risks through FMEA participation, risk reviews and escalation management.Prepare management reports, transfer status updates and decision-making documentation for project and steering committees. To be successful you will need to meet the following: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.Several years of experience within Industrial Engineering, with a strong focus on supplier transfers, supplier industrialisation or manufacturing relocation projects.Proven experience managing production transfers, supplier ramp-ups and industrialisation programmes.Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and process validation methodologies.Business fluent German and English language skills.Good understanding of assembly and testing processes within a manufacturing environment.Experience working with complex electromechanical products is highly advantageous.Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills within international environments.Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, with ERP and PLM system experience considered beneficial.
