This role focuses on building scalable cloud solutions, improving operational efficiency, and helping teams adopt Azure best practices. What You'll Build and Support Infrastructure as Code using BicepAzure governance and platform administration, including Management Groups, Azure Policy, and RBACEnterprise Azure networking, including:Virtual Networks (VNets)Private Endpoints / Private LinkPrivate DNSHub-and-spoke connectivity modelsAzure Dev/Test environments using Azure DevTest LabsCI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOpsAutomation using Azure CLI and PowerShellSecure and repeatable cloud deployment processes Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutionsAuthor and maintain reusable Bicep modules and templatesImplement networking and connectivity solutions across Azure environmentsSupport cloud governance initiatives through policy and RBAC configurationAutomate infrastructure deployment and operational tasksTroubleshoot platform and infrastructure issuesPartner with security, networking, and application teams to implement cloud solutionsContribute to cloud platform standards and engineering best practicesParticipate in code reviews and continuous improvement efforts LI-Remote Education / Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on Azure engineering experienceStrong experience with Azure Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, or TerraformExperience deploying and managing Azure resources through automationFluency in English Experience With Azure PolicyRBACManagement GroupsStrong Azure networking fundamentalsExperience using Git-based source control systemsExperience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platformsProficiency with Azure CLI and/or PowerShellStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure Verified Modules (AVM)Experience with Deployment StacksExperience with AzOps or GitOps-style Azure governanceExperience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Experience with Azure Virtual WAN (vWAN)Experience building reusable platform components and shared servicesExperience in large-scale enterprise Azure environments Certifications Required AZ-104 Azure Administrator (or equivalent demonstrated experience) Preferred AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect About Octave Octave provides mission-critical software that empowers organizations to make informed decisions across every stage of the asset lifecycle - Design, Build, Operate and Protect - where performance, safety, and reliability are non-negotiable and failure is not an option.
