ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack AWS & AI/ML Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
In this role, you’ll be a core problem-solver delivering high-impact solutions.
You will focus on building intuitive graphical user interfaces and dashboards, deploying and managing applications in an AWS cloud environment, executing tech transfer initiatives to integrate new capabilities into established tools, automating critical workflows, and embedding AI/ML models into active systems to enhance operational decision-making.
The annual base salary range for this role is $151,000-$178,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package.
Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills
Frontend Development: Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js) to build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly GUIs and interactive dashboards.
Languages: Solid foundation in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
AWS & Cloud Architecture: Strong working knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for provisioning cloud infrastructure.
Workflow Automation & AI/ML Integration: Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, AWS Step Functions), and basic experience integrating AI/ML models into web applications or backend pipelines.
DevOps & Tools: Core understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, cloud security best practices, version control with Git, and unit/integration testing frameworks.
Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management, PLUS 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of hands-on technical systems engineering and architecture experience in lieu of a degree.
