Software Architect

Job Type Full-time Description Our engineering teams build primarily in a modern, composable architecture while continuing to support and evolve legacy components where needed. This role sits directly within a sprint team as the technical architect for the solutions being delivered. We are looking for a Software Architect who enjoys both designing systems and contributing to them. Someone who can think strategically about architecture, guide sound technical decisions, and also step into the codebase to help move delivery forward. This role carries clear design authority within the team’s domain. You will shape technical direction, guide solution design, and influence how work is executed - while working collaboratively across engineering and product. What You'll Do Serve as the embedded technical architect within a sprint teamDesign scalable, maintainable solutions aligned to our broader platform directionContribute meaningful production code as part of ongoing deliveryMake and guide key architectural decisions within your domainSet clear technical standards and hold the team accountable to themPartner closely with your Engineering Manager and Product Manager to drive well-designed, executable solutionsEngage with other Software Architects and enterprise-level leaders to align patterns and practices across teamsContribute to platform evolution and system health beyond individual stories The Environment You'll Work in Frontend: Angular, React, TypeScript, Next.jsBackend: Node.js, Java, REST APIsEventing: KafkaCloud: AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFormation, Lambda)Tooling: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Dynatrace, Snyk, AI-assisted development toolsPlatform: Composable microservices architecture with select Hybris-powered components Most new development happens within our modern stack, while legacy areas are maintained and evolved thoughtfully. What We're Offering Compensation, benefits, and logistics The anticipated salary range for this position starts at $140,000-155,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for a performance-based bonus based on individual and company performance.
