Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer in Grapevine, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure services, including: Virtual Networks (VNets); Virtual Machines; Azure Storage; Load Balancers; Application Gateways; Key Vault; Azure Backup; Azure Monitor; Azure DNS; Azure Virtual WAN Support hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises and cloud resources Implement highly available, resilient, and secure infrastructure architectures Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and infrastructure improvements Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, & Ansible Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins (preferred) Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks Support Git-based source control and automated deployment processes Administer and support: Windows Server environments; Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL); Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; Certificate services Perform system patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Implement security hardening and compliance best practices Design and support network connectivity across cloud and on-premises environments Troubleshoot routing, firewall, load balancing, and connectivity issues Understand and support: TCP/IP; VPNs; ExpressRoute; BGP; DNS; Network segmentation; Security groups and firewalls Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions Develop operational runbooks and automation workflows Support incident response, problem management, and root cause analysis Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and security Partner with application teams to develop cloud-native and automated deployment solutions Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and governance standards are maintained
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience 3+ years of Microsoft Azure engineering experience 3+ years of DevOps, automation, or platform engineering experience Experience with IaC solutions such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines Strong Windows Server administration experience Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experience Experience with Git repositories and version control practices Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
