Java Engineer

Job Overview Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled Java Engineer to join our team to design, build, and scale the core server-side logic of our applications. In this role, you will focus on developing high-performance microservices and managing seamless data flow across our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate technical requirements into robust, production-ready code. Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience developing with Java to be considered for this role. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services and APIs using Java.Implement high-performance microservices and manage real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures.Identify system bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and ensure the high availability and scalability of core services.Partner with product managers and other engineering team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Experience 5+ years of experience developing with Java.Proven experience building high-performance microservices and defining efficient RPC protocols (gRPC).Demonstrated experience working with message brokers and event-driven architecture (Kafka).Excellent verbal and written English communication skillsExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Initiative and drive to do great things.
