Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our core engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems.
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of enterprise Java development experience, a strong background in big data processing using Apache Spark, and a passion for engineering excellence.
While this is primarily a backend role, knowledge of Angular UI is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
System Architecture: Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and microservices-based backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
Data Processing: Architect and optimize large-scale, distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.
Database Management: Write complex SQL/NoSQL queries and optimize database performance for high-throughput applications.
API Development: Design and implement secure, well-documented RESTful APIs.
Mentorship & Code Quality: Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with frontend teams, product managers, and DevOps to deliver seamless end-to-end features.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience primarily focused on backend engineering.
