Software Systems Engineer

We are seeking a collaborative and technically capable Software/Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, testing, configuration, and lifecycle management of tactical end-user devices and related mobile communications capabilities. The Software/System Engineer will work across ruggedized Android devices, mobile applications, tactical radios, communications interfaces, peripherals, power components, mobile device management platforms, and supporting system infrastructure. The position requires a systems-oriented engineer who understands how hardware, software, communications, security, and operational requirements come together to form an effective fielded capability. This is not primarily a software development position. However, prior Android application development experience is important because it provides the technical foundation needed to evaluate application behavior, operating-system interactions, device interfaces, integration risks, software releases, and vendor solutions. The engineer must be able to work effectively with software developers without being expected to spend most of the time writing production code. **Must be a US Citizen** **Active Clearance Preferred**
