AI-Native Software Developer

Company Description IMPOSSIBLE is a crypto investment platform focused on making high-quality digital asset opportunities more fair, accessible, and transparent. We build across crypto, DeFi, marketplaces, and AI, and this role may work across the wider group, including IMPOSSIBLE, Rarible, and Impossibuild. Role Description We’re looking for an AI-Native / AI-Forward Developer who has fundamentally changed the way they build software using AI. This isn’t about occasionally using ChatGPT or Copilot for a code snippet. We’re looking for someone who uses coding agents, LLMs, and modern AI development tools as a core part of their engineering workflow while still owning the architecture, technical judgment, code quality, testing, security, and what ultimately ships. You should know how to break down complex problems, give AI agents the right context, evaluate their output critically, catch incorrect assumptions, and turn AI-generated work into reliable production software. What You'll Work On Build and ship AI-powered product featuresDevelop internal AI agents, tools, and automationsIntegrate LLMs into frontend and backend applicationsBuild AI workflows for research, risk, trading, operations, and other business functionsWork with wallets, smart contracts, on-chain data, DeFi protocols, marketplaces, and crypto infrastructureBuild retrieval systems, RAG pipelines, APIs, data pipelines, and automated workflowsExperiment with new models, coding agents, frameworks, and AI APIsImprove prompts, context management, evaluations, latency, cost, observability, and reliabilityRapidly prototype and launch new AI-native productsUse AI to move faster without compromising security, maintainability, or engineering quality What We're Looking For Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with some of the following: PythonTypeScript / JavaScriptGoReact / Next.jsNode.js and backend frameworksAPIs and distributed servicesSQL and modern databasesCloud infrastructureGit, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and production engineering AI Experience You should be comfortable working with technologies such as: Large Language Models and LLM APIsAI coding agentsClaude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar toolsAgent frameworks and tool callingVector databases and RAGPrompt and context engineeringAI evaluations and observabilityMCP and agent-based workflowsCrypto, blockchain, or DeFi experience is a plus, but it is not required. Strong engineers who can learn the domain quickly are encouraged to apply. Show us your GitHub repositories, live products, demos, open-source contributions, experiments, technical write-ups, or anything else that demonstrates how you build. We’re particularly interested in examples where AI meaningfully changed how quickly or effectively you were able to ship and where you can explain what the AI did well, where it failed, and how you used your own engineering judgment to get the result right.
