Description

Kathmandu, 7:00 PM. Somewhere in the US it's Tuesday morning, and a client just opened the interface you shipped last week. That's the rhythm of this role. Worth knowing before you read further. We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer at Tejasbyte Technologies β€” full-time, remote, working US hours for US clients. What the role actually is Not building marketing pages. You'll own the frontend of web and SaaS products where performance is measured, accessibility is a requirement rather than a retro item, and cross-browser behaviour is somebody's actual complaint. You'll translate designs into code you'd defend in review, integrate against real APIs with backend engineers who'll push back, and make architectural calls that outlive the sprint. You'll also review other people's code and mentor engineers who are earlier in this than you are β€” that half of the job matters as much as the shipping half. What we're looking for Modern JavaScript frameworks and component architecture β€” React and Next.js is our stack, but if you've gone deep in Vue or Angular and can reason about the trade-offs, we'll talk. TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and build tooling like Vite or Webpack. Git, testing, CI/CD as habits rather than things you've heard of. State management, performance optimisation, and frontend security you can discuss without reaching for a search bar. And the remote part: clear written communication across a distributed team, in a timezone where you can't tap someone on the shoulder. 4+ years, and production-scale applications behind you. What we're offering β†’ Attractive salary β€” we pay for capability, not for postcode β†’ Monday to Friday, flexible within the [SHIFT] window β†’ Fully remote β†’ Direct client exposure β€” no account manager standing between you and the person using your work β†’ Ownership of frontend standards and architecture at a company that treats maintainability as a value, not a slogan How we hire We read your GitHub before your CV. Real commits, real problems, code you'd stand behind. If that reads well, you'll do a DSA round and a coding round β€” no weekend-eating take-home, just whether you can think out loud. A degree in CS or software engineering is welcome. Equivalent practical experience is equally welcome. What we can't substitute for is the production experience. Apply via the link in the first comment. One question for the frontend people here: what's the performance fix you're still quietly proud of? The specific one, not the general approach. I'd rather read those replies than another stack of CVs. #Hiring #FrontendDeveloper #ReactJS #NextJS #TypeScript #RemoteWork #NepalTechJobs #SeniorEngineer
