Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll help build and evolve the backend systems and product infrastructure that support a rapidly growing technology platform. This is a backend-focused full-stack role, with the majority of your work centered around designing reliable services, APIs, and data-driven systems, while also contributing to frontend functionality and end-to-end product development when needed. This position is well suited for engineers who enjoy owning features from initial concept through production and working across different areas of a modern software stack. You'll collaborate closely with engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and product while contributing to architectural decisions and helping establish the technical foundation for continued growth. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting high-volume transactional and customer workflows.Own end-to-end feature development across core platform systems and external integrations.Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and engineering decisions as the platform evolves.Collaborate with frontend and mobile engineers to deliver full-stack functionality when required.Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and code quality across production services.Develop robust testing and monitoring practices for business-critical applications.Participate in technical planning, code reviews, sprint planning, and production support.Take ownership of backend projects from initial design through deployment and ongoing operation. Qualifications 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.Strong production experience developing backend systems in Python, ideally with Django.Experience designing APIs, data models, and scalable services using PostgreSQL and AWS.Working knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React.Experience working with distributed systems and highly available production environments.Strong ownership mindset with a track record of taking projects from concept through production.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
