Automation Specialist

Position Summary Automation via Integration, this role will understand the Restful API integration between Sunbird Software and other vendors to integrate data between those systems Essential Duties And Responsibilities Integrate customers’ existing software with Sunbird software through REST APIsIntegrate customers’ facility management devices, including generators, air conditioners, and other data center infrastructure, with Sunbird DCIM softwareDevelop, maintain, analyze, and debug Python code used for integrations, automation, and data processingDevelop integrations using Python libraries such as Requests, Pandas, and other API and data-processing librariesAnalyze, scrub, transform, and migrate customer data from external sources into DCIM systemsProcess and correct raw customer data for migration, integration, and analysisTroubleshoot API, data, and integration issues throughout implementationMaintain integration and automation code using GitHub source controlWork with REST API documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI specificationsUse SQL to retrieve, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot customer and system dataUse command-line tools in Linux and Windows environments to support integration and troubleshooting activities Requirements/Qualifications Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experienceOne year of experience providing customer support in a technical environmentStrong customer-facing project management, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical skillsWorking knowledge of REST APIs and API-based system integrationWorking knowledge of SQL queries and relational databasesWorking knowledge of JSON data structures and data exchangeWorking knowledge of GitHub source control and version managementWorking knowledge of Python scriptingAccountability and the ability to adapt, multitask, and manage changing prioritiesSelf-motivated with the ability to learn and apply new skills quicklyStrong oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsAdaptable and comfortable working with frequently changing priorities and direction DESIRED SKILLS Introductory knowledge of PowerShell Introductory knowledge of command-line use in Linux and WindowsBasic knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI documentationDemonstrated basic technical knowledge of:Computer hardware, including rack servers, PDUs, and cablingWindows operating systemsMicrosoft Excel and XLSX/CSV file creationAbility to work flexible hours with the possibility of travel up to 10% WHY SUNBIRD?
