Job Description:
The client is undertaking a comprehensive, multi-year modernization initiative to replace its aging legacy systems, including the retirement of the ALICE platform, and transition to a unified cloud-native environment.
The project includes development of MyPAS 3.0, a custom Azure-hosted pension administration system.
The modernization environment includes technologies such as Angular, REST APIs, Azure SQL Managed Instances, Azure Function Apps, Power BI, document management, and process automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities / Required Experience: Perform all aspects of application development, including coding, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, and pull requestsDevelop, enhance, and maintain application components that meet functional and technical requirementsDevelop APIs, system interfaces, and automation workflowsTranslate technical specifications into maintainable, production-ready softwareDevelop clear and actionable user stories and maintain a prioritized backlogWork within established SDLC and Agile methodologiesUnderstand business processes, functional design principles, documentation standards, user stories, and acceptance criteriaDeliver high-quality software with minimal defectsCollaborate effectively with developers, technical staff, analysts, testers, and project managersManage multiple development assignments and meet established timelinesCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
