Role Description: As an Account Executive Intern, your primary responsibility is to support new high-value partners in smoothly onboarding to Booking.com, ensuring accurate content information and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will provide training to new partners on utilizing the Booking.com extranet and guide them on systems that optimize their availability and inventory. Additionally, you will be responsible for discussing business opportunities with partners to drive performance growth. Your main channel of contacting our partners will be by telephone. Furthermore you will offer support to the Local Partner Services team with various tasks at the office. We are looking for ambitious and internationally minded talents to participate in our internship program. Successful candidates will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. While specific prior experience is not required, an affinity for the e-travel or hotel industry is a plus. This internship is based in Shanghai, China, and requires candidates to already reside in China with a valid work permit. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: Support new high value partners in going live on Booking.com. Assist with license verification, content translation & mapping and complete property & policy setup on our platform; Delivering training by phone to new partners on how to use Booking.com’s extranet and self-manage their rates & availability in our platform; Provide ongoing support to properties to ensure accurate property information, pricing, and availability on Booking.com following their onboarding. Identify and discuss business growth opportunities with partners using internal tools and products, with a focus on driving payment and seasonal campaign adoption. Views partner objections as business signals and opportunities to provide the right solution. Influences partners over the phone with tailored recommendations. In consultation with the Account Managers and Account Executive, provide information support for new and existing accommodations; Manage partner’s inquiry and provide problem-solving support for our accommodation partners. Support China Local Partner Services team to drive market expansion through local partner engagement, including the delivery of webinars and workshops to introduce our products; Assisting in additional tasks and projects when needed. Role Qualifications and Requirements: Fluent in English and proficiency in Mandarin. Affinity for / experience within e-travel and / or hotel / travel industry; Proactive, sense of responsibility, friendly and can work independently; Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail; Phenomenal teammate, motivated, flexible and open to change; Strong bias for action and possessing problem solving mindset; You already live in China and have a work permit to work in China; This role is based in Shanghai, China; mobility or accommodation not provided.
