Full Stack Developer (Contract / Contract-to-Hire) This position will begin as a contract engagement with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. We are seeking someone interested in becoming a long-term member of our team and helping to shape the future of our digital platforms. Oakwood Homes is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team on a contract/contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the entire technology stack, solving complex technical challenges, and taking ownership of customer-facing websites and internal web applications. You will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing, and evolving our digital platforms, including our public website, APIs, and supporting infrastructure. You'll work in an existing codebase while helping modernize applications, improve performance, and deliver new features that directly impact both our customers and internal teams. This role reports directly to the Web Operations Manager, and the two of you will work together daily to prioritize development efforts, troubleshoot production issues, plan releases, review architecture, and implement new functionality. You'll collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Design, Product, and other business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable, reliable technical solutions. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, communicates well with both technical and non-technical teams, and is interested in becoming a long-term member of our organization.
