As we scale our technical capabilities, we are seeking a Senior Blockchain Frontend Engineer to design and build production-grade Web3 applications across DeFi, NFT, DAO, and blockchain ecosystems. The ideal candidate combines strong frontend engineering expertise with deep blockchain knowledge and a product-oriented mindset. This is a fully remote position. Key ResponsibilitiesFrontend Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Web3 Integration: Build seamless integrations with blockchain networks, smart contracts, wallets, and Web3 infrastructure using libraries such as wagmi, viem, ethers.js, and related tooling. Blockchain UX: Translate complex blockchain mechanics into intuitive user experiences, including wallet connections, transaction flows, token interactions, signing, staking, swapping, governance, and other on-chain activities. Smart Contract Integration: Work closely with smart contract engineers to integrate contracts into frontend applications, handle contract reads/writes, transaction states, gas estimation, network switching, and error handling. Multi-Chain Development: Develop applications compatible with EVM-based networks and contribute to multi-chain experiences across Ethereum, L2s, and emerging blockchain ecosystems. Performance & Security: Optimize frontend performance, ensure reliable transaction handling, and follow best practices for Web3 application security and wallet interactions. Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers and product strategists to turn high-fidelity UI/UX concepts into polished, production-ready interfaces. Technical Leadership: Establish frontend standards, review code, mentor engineers, and contribute to architectural and technology decisions across client and internal projects. Requirements5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 2+ years building production Web3/blockchain applications.Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend architecture.Deep understanding of Ethereum and EVM-compatible blockchain ecosystems.Hands-on experience with wagmi, viem, ethers.js, WalletConnect, and browser/mobile wallet integrations.Solid understanding of smart contracts, ABI, RPC, transactions, gas, signatures, events, token standards, and on-chain data.Experience integrating ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155 and DeFi protocols into frontend applications.Experience working with APIs, indexers, subgraphs, or blockchain data providers.Strong understanding of asynchronous blockchain transaction states and resilient UX patterns.Experience with Git, CI/CD, testing, and production deployment workflows.Strong eye for detail and ability to turn sophisticated designs into pixel-perfect interfaces.Understanding of Web3 security risks, including wallet permissions, transaction spoofing, phishing vectors, and unsafe contract interactions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, fully remote Web3 environment.Ability to work effectively with designers, product managers, smart contract engineers, and protocol teams.Nice to HaveExperience with DeFi protocols, DAOs, NFTs, DEXs, lending protocols, staking, or governance systems.Experience building on Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Solana, or other blockchain ecosystems.Familiarity with The Graph, Alchemy, Infura, QuickNode, or similar blockchain infrastructure.Experience with React Query/TanStack Query, Zustand, Redux, Tailwind CSS, or comparable modern tooling.Experience writing frontend tests with Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress.Previous experience working with a Web3 agency, protocol, startup, or venture studio.Open-source contributions to blockchain or frontend projects.What We OfferCompetitive Annual Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 (commensurate with experience) + performance-based bonuses.100% Remote Work with flexible hours and high operational autonomy.Opportunity to work directly with top-tier Web3 founders, protocol teams, and blockchain startups.High-impact engineering role within a specialized Web3 design and strategy agency.Opportunity to work on DeFi, DAO, NFT, and next-generation blockchain products.Strong ownership over technical decisions and frontend architecture.A highly collaborative environment where engineering, design, and product strategy work closely together.If you are passionate about building exceptional products at the intersection of frontend engineering and blockchain technology, and you know how to turn complex on-chain mechanics into fast, intuitive, production-ready experiences, apply now to join XamDesign!
