The company currently uses WordPress but wants to move away from it and build a more modern, flexible and scalable platform. You'll work directly with the CEO to decide how this should look, what technology to use and how the new systems should be built. You'll have plenty of freedom and responsibility, with the chance to build new tools, improve existing systems and have a direct impact on how the business operates. The role: *Become the company's web developer working this alongside the CEO *Take ownership of external web as well as building internal tools. *HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and responsive web design *WordPress (Moving away from using it) *Drive SEO strategy through technical SEO *UX/UI *Opportunity to broaden your technical skills across application development and additional web technologies within a growing business The Candidate: *Looking to become the company's 'go to' web developer *Looking to gain more ownership within a position and to build a career *WordPress development experience (They are looking to move away from this) *Strong web development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and responsive web design *SEO using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz or similar *Comfortable ‘Vibe Coding’ with AI tools This is a great opportunity for a Web Developer who wants more than just maintaining an existing website.
