Senior Forward Deployed Engineer Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands / London, UK / Berlin, Germany Industry: Technology / E-commerce / Online Marketplace About the Role A leading international technology and online marketplace business is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to drive technology-enabled transformation within its Legal Operations function. The role focuses on turning complex and recurring business requirements into scalable AI-powered tools, automated workflows, dashboards and data-driven solutions, reducing manual processes and improving operational efficiency across a global organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of technology solutions supporting Legal Operations and business transformation initiatives.Design and deploy tools, workflows and automation that improve operational efficiency and scalability.Translate business and functional requirements into practical technology solutions, prototypes, dashboards and applications.Own technical design decisions for assigned solutions within established architecture, security and governance frameworks.Collaborate with Legal, Product, Technology, Data, Compliance and business stakeholders to identify and prioritise opportunities.Build and deploy AI-powered solutions, including agents, bots, automation scripts and LLM-based workflows.Develop APIs, data pipelines and internal applications to streamline complex processes.Monitor solution performance, adoption and reliability and implement ongoing improvements.Structure and analyse unstructured data to support regulatory monitoring and business intelligence.Build dashboards and workflow automation tools to improve visibility and decision-making.Document technical solutions, processes and user guidance to support long-term scalability and adoption.Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver practical, deployable solutions.Qualifications Demonstrated experience developing and deploying AI-powered solutions, automation or internal technology tools.Strong programming experience with Python, JavaScript or similar languages.Experience working with LLM APIs, AI agents, automation frameworks or related technologies is highly desirable.Understanding of technical systems architecture and application design.Experience developing dashboards, APIs, data pipelines or workflow automation.Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Experience working with structured and unstructured data.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and collaborative technology platforms.Interest or experience in regulatory considerations affecting digital businesses, including AI, digital markets, competition, payments or platform regulation.Industry Technology | AI | Software | E-commerce | Online Marketplace | Legal Technology | Automation
